1/5/2024 0 Comments Rise of industry torrent![]() The game is pretty much only about transporting goods / people when you get down to it. I hope this helps you understanding the end-game and helps you deciding to buy it or not :) If end game is defined by just making enough profit to be on a surplus of money, then yes, the end game is reached at a very early stage already despite the necessary vehicle replacements every now and then. It keeps going on and on like this, you will have tons of hours to play before ever reaching the "end game". But now the curves are too sharp, you cannot reach your desired speed, you need to re-adjust the track. But your rails are not allowing such speeds, you need to upgrade them. Soon you have unlocked the high speed passenger trains, now you want to travel from A to B in 250km/h. But the raw source can't produce any further! The factory needs more raw sources from different places - but now the platforms are no longer enough, you need to expand the train station of the factory. You need more powerful trains, larger capacities. ![]() The factory needs to produce even more, so you need more input to feed the factory. The demand is increasing more and more, you cannot satisfy the demand completely anymore as the city grows in population size. However the cities are continuously growing thanks to your great services that you have provided with these lines. You might have your lines prepared and "done" for let's say 60 km/h of train travel. Like with cities you upgrade your city to be more eco friendly, deal with changes to the city forcing you to make changes - but if the point of this game is just to transport goods and you've built all the supply lines needed - is the game over then? Basically whats the end game like? It's great to start in the 1800's with the first tiny basic steam engine and end up over a 100 years later with ultra modern trains, trucks and planes.Īctually you bring up my last question, as the game is based around transportation only, lets say you start off in 1800's and its not 1900's (100 years have passed) and you've built most of the transport lines you needed - what is the end-game like? ![]() Originally posted by Flip:Also what I like is that it has different time periods. Indeed, Transport Tycoon Deluxe may be its closest comparison (in terms of game focus), but its graphics are decades (quite literally) apart. Transport Fever aims for a more realistic appearance, and far moreso than Cities: Skylines. Rise of Industry follows a more traditional TTD style with a tile map. Railway Empire is kind of 'cartoony' in the old Sid Meier's Railroads! and Railroad Tycoon style, where you don't have to worry about details. Its similarities with Cities: Skylines - despite playing nothing like it - must be its appearance. You are "just" a transport company in Transport Fever, and that's its focus, and where it stands out. And you don't build industries like in Rise of Industry. You don't just build railway and trains like in Railway Empire, you build buses, trams, lorries, ships and planes too. You don't build cities in TpF2, in like Cities: Skylines. Assuming by "Cities", you mean "Cities: Skylines", the games most similar to Transport Fever (which I assume you mean by "Transport Rivals") of the ones you listed must be a mix between Railway Empire and Rise of Industry, although it's really neither.
